Projects of all shapes and sizes are a joy to work on. This project features a retaining wall on either side of the entry way. The wall on the left of the stairs measures 22 linear feet long and is 3 feet tall. The wall on the right side of the stairs is 8 linear feet long and is also 3 feet tall and features a curve.
The type of block used on this project is Rockwood Buff which matches nicely with the existing exterior colors of the home and partial brick facade.
The homeowner chose to keep the top layer of the left side retaining wall filled with gravel. Their future goal is to build a deck on top of this area. We can’t wait to see how it will look in the future when completed.
This right side retaining wall is filled with screened soil and is ready for use and a planting area.
